Skuewolf is the offshoot of Dirty Wolves and Prog Rock was genre. From headlining the Sydney Opera House, festivals to both national and international touring. Dirty Wolves was about exploring new possibilities. 

 

Today Skuewolf is back with a unique sound that circles around a sound that has a stronger commercial appeal.

 

After the Creation & Chaos tour, 3 Grammy Nom producer Rick ‘The Soldier’ Will ( Incubus, Johnny Cash, Grinspoon, Shrek, Terminator 3) had a wild idea of creating the offshoot which could captivate a broader audience. ‘Let’s move that voice and guitar playing skills and go mainstream.”

 

Halfway through the album, Rick sadly passed away, it took us by surprise, it really hurt, Rick Will and Alexander Hermes aka Skuewolf were closer than brothers. It took quite a while to gain the momentum to complete the first Skuewolf release after Rick passed away.

 

With the help of Grammy winner Nat Love (Adele, Beyonce, Coldplay) we finally finished the album. Dario Bortolin (Baby Animals) really helped get this release across the line, he was amazing!

The Skuewolf release has quite a few guests, some include drummer Kenny Aranoff (Smashing  Pumpkins, Pink, Jagger)

 

‘Dirty Wolves - Creation & Chaos was a serious and epic album. Skuewolf is all about having fun. The new release still carry’s  elements of the old sound, however this time, it’s all about creating something without pressure and enjoying the moment - Alexander Hermes (Skuewolf)
